The Emotion Wheel can be a useful tool in individual therapy, group settings, or on your own to identify, generate, and explore the complexity of emotions. Many of these include characters and scenarios from our online SEL interventions. To assist you as you help students understand emotions, we have created a series of lessons, activities, worksheets, and printables. Emotions make us want to act, and different emotions guide us towards different kinds of actions.Lust: Arousal, desire, infatuation, lust, passion.Affection: Adoration, affection, attraction, caring, compassion, fondness, liking, love, sentimentality, tenderness.Zest: Enthusiasm, excitement, exhilaration, thrill, zeal, zest.Cheerfulness: Amusement, bliss, cheerfulness, delight, ecstasy, elation, enjoyment, euphoria, gaiety, gladness, glee, happiness, jolliness, joviality, joy, jubilation, satisfaction.Nervousness: Anxiety, apprehension, distress, dread, nervousness, tenseness, uneasiness, worry.Horror: Alarm, fear, fright, horror, hysteria, mortification, panic, shock, terror.Rage: Anger, bitterness, dislike, ferocity, fury, hate, hostility, loathing, outrage, rage, resentment, scorn, spite, vengefulness, wrath.Irritation: Aggravation, agitation, annoyance, grouchiness, grumpiness, irritation.The Feelings Wheel is filled with different layers and dimensions of color and emotion. The intensity of the color increases with an increase in the intensity of the emotion. The descriptions, causes, and reactions to the foundational, primary emotions used in the wheel of emotions are listed below: 1. Our fundamental emotions like sadness, anger, disgust, joy, trust, fear, surprise, and Anticipation are the core of the emotion wheel chart. Exasperation: Exasperation, frustration The eight Primary emotions laid out by Robert Plutchik have been marked using a noticeable color in the Wheel of Emotions.
